The President's Committee on Diversity at Northern Michigan University is currently looking to fill several vacancies (faculty, student, community).  Be a part of the conversation as our community continues to implement strategies for broader inclusion and seeks to embrace and support diversity. The time commitment: monthly meeting on the third Friday of the month, 1:30-3:00 p.m. (September-April).

Construction Management & Technology Career Fair

A reminder that the Construction Management and Technology Career Fair is happening on Thursday, September 20th!  It will take place in the Jacobetti Complex from 1 PM to 4 PM. 

If you're looking for a job or internship, or just want to network with some employers in your field, stop by!  Dress for success, bring your resume and have your student ID ready for check-in.

If you join this event in Cat Career Tracks-Handshake and check in at the fair, your name will be placed into our prize drawing!  Ten winners will be selected.

Don't forget all of the on-campus recruiting events happening in conjunction with the fair as well!

Nursing BSN applications accepted until October 1

The online application for the winter 2019 semester Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is open until October 1 at http://www.nmu.edu/nursing/application. If you have a 2.75 GPA, have completed (with a C- or higher) or are currently enrolled for all BSN prerequisite courses, you must apply to be considered for admission to the BSN program. Contact your adviser for the appropriate semester for you to apply. Application attachments may be required.

Steppin' Out Ballroom Dance Club sessions cancelled until January

The Steppin' Out Ballroom Dance Club has cancelled all Sunday sessions for the rest of this semester.  The club offers free ballroom dance classes for NMU students and Marquette community members.  We need to cancel for the rest of the semester, but hope to see interested students in January.
