How to we change the conversation surrounding climate change? By examining and relating to the people and places we love. Join NMU in a collaborative lecture, dance, multimedia, and live music performance with our new dance company, co/lab collective, the OM music group, and Professor Jessica Thompson.
Additionally, join us after the first performance for an exclusive opening night party featuring complimentary food and beverages, a photo booth, and a meet and greet with the cast and creative team! The opening night party is included with a ticket purchased for opening night, November 7th, and will follow the show in the FRT Lobby. All theatre and dance majors and minors are invited to attend free of charge.
We are excited to announce that the performance on Saturday, November 9th at 1:00pm will be our sensory friendly Theatre for All performance!
The Forest Roberts Theatre and Northern Michigan University launched the Theatre For All Initiative on campus in 2018 and have made it their mission to make the performing arts more accessible to children and adults on the autism spectrum as well as their families. Each show is performed in a friendly, supportive environment for families and friends with children or adults who are diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder or other sensory sensitivities.
