Student Workshop: NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program

The NSF GRFP recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees at accredited United States institutions, and awards a stipend and tuition for 3 years of graduate school.  You can apply if you are an undergraduate senior, a bachelor's degree holder before enrolling in a degree-granting graduate program, and graduate students enrolled in a degree-granting graduate program.  We will cover the basics of applying to the program, and requirements of the application.  Also presenting will be NMU's recent awardee of this program, Sierra Gillman, who begins her award in Fall 2019.  Lunch will be provided.  Please bring your laptop to this session.
