Diversity Reader - Silent Reading Party

Calling all introverts, bibliophiles, and tea enthusiasts! Join us for a couple hours of silent reading with hot tea and cookies in the lodge. This event, sponsored by the Diversity Common Reader committee, is devoted to reading this year's book, Southside Buddhist: Essays by Ira Sukrungruang.

Free books will be available at the event for students. Assorted hot tea will be on hand as well as cookies. Come settle in to a comfy chair with a book and hot tea. Books are available before and after this event at the Multicultural Education and Resource Center (MERC.)

Additional silent reading gatherings are scheduled for the Fridays after spring break from 12-2 in the library atrium. Visit the event webpage for more information. Stay tuned for diversity common reader events during the week of March 23-27, including a visit from the author.
