Intro to Cybersecurity Camp

This week-long camp is designed for 7-12th grade students who want to learn the importance of cybersecurity, recognize the threat of a cyber attack, and gain valuable skills to protect themselves from any potential cyber threat.

 

Additionally, students will learn to do the following:

 

Interpret characteristics of a cyber attack

Understand how to protect their devices from threat

Learn techniques to protect organizations from cyber attack

Get an understanding of the legal and ethical issues in cybersecurity

Complete Linux Unhatched course

 

WHEN: JULY 29 - AUGUST 2, 2019; 8:30 AM until 12:30 PM

WHERE: Upper Peninsula Cybersecurity Institute, Room 2202 of the Northern Center, NMU

COST: $80 PER PERSON (Includes a week of additional access to the online lab)
