The Forensic Investigation Summer Program at Northern Michigan University is a residential summer camp that offers high school students hands-on experience with methods used by crime scene investigators and forensic scientists to collect and analyze evidence used to solve crimes. The curriculum is intended for academically able students who are currently in 9th, 10th, or 11th grades (during the 2017-2018 school year). Topics that will be explored during this program include impression evidence (fingerprints, shoe prints), trace evidence (hairs, fibers), crime scene documentation, forensic anthropology and more!
