Our Diversity read for this semester is "I Am Malala" by Malala Yousafzai. Malala was shot in the face for defending girls' rights to an education in the Middle East. We will discuss the book and share opinions on how life is for people from different cultural backgrounds and how we can take Malala's story and make a change in our lives to be better leaders. A limited number of books are available to borrow in the Center for Student Enrichment, 1205 Northern Center (formerly the University Center), on a first-come, first-serve basis. The book can also be found at your local library or online.
Rachel Harris is the Director of the Center for Student Enrichment.
