Come enjoy an evening of fun and entertainment while supporting our local community! Proceeds raised go back to inspire and grow our community, particularly when it comes to encouraging kids. The Rotary Club of Ishpeming has Western Marquette county in mind by annually providing scholarships for four school districts (Negaunee, Ishpeming, Westwood, and Republic) along with volunteering and financially supporting projects within our community that would bring in positive growth. Some past projects supported by the Rotary Club of Ishpeming were the startup of Old Town Disc Golf Course. We also encouraged local school students involved with an international water project, advocated students to get involved with current global issues by attending leadership programs, and much more. Future projects we will be supporting are a handicap accessible fishing pier/kayak launch on Teal Lake and supporting the start of Boys and Girls Club of America in Ishpeming. As Rotarians, we believe a strong community can have a positive impact that may encourage others and allow our community to connect to the world!
Tickets are $75 per person or sponsor a table for $750 (get 10 tickets for guests)--such a great way to show our community your involvement! Purchase tickets through Eventbrite; Ishpeming Rotary Club Facebook, or contact Lance Peterson (906)250-7988.
Doors open at 5PM starting with social/heavy hors d'oeuvres, bucket/silent/live auction items, dinner, and dancing to follow. Entertainment is by the Westerly Winds Big Band -an 18 piece brass band-so bring your dancing shoes for a fun night of jazz and swing dance music!
