Employee Benefits Fair--Save the Date

The 2019 Employee Benefits Fair is scheduled for Tuesday, October 1st from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Northern Center Ballrooms III and IV.  One hour of released-time will be granted for employees attending the Fair.

The Benefits Fair gives faculty and staff the opportunity to learn more about their TIAA or MPSERS Retirement plan, Blue Cross/Blue Shield medical and dental plan, and EyeMed vision plan from plan representatives.  In addition, The Hartford, AFLAC, MEEMIC, Social Security Administration, and Marketplace Insurance Plan representatives will be present. 

The Fair is also your chance to get your flu shot and have your blood pressure checked by staff at the NMU Health Center.  Watch for an upcoming e-mail with a complete list of participants.  If you have any questions, please contact Kristen Bjorne, Human Resources Department at kportale@nmu.edu or phone 227-1030.

The online application for the winter 2020 semester Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is open until October 1 at http://www.nmu.edu/nursing/application. If you have a 2.75 GPA, have completed (with a C- or higher) or are currently enrolled for all BSN prerequisite courses, you must apply to be considered for admission to the BSN program. Contact your adviser for the appropriate semester for you to apply. Application attachments may be required.
