Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan offers free identity protection services through AllClear ID for employees enrolled in the NMU Health Plan.  ID protection is automatic and you do not need to enroll.  If you become of victim of identity theft, simply call AllClear ID and a dedicated investigator will assist you.  For more information visit: AllClear Secure Identity Repair.

In addition, AllClear Pro credit monitoring is available at no cost but enrollment is necessary for this addtional protection.  For more information see:  AllClear Pro Credit Monitoring.  See also the FAQ for further information about both services.  Please call the Human Resources Department at x2470 if you have any questions.

TAO Connect is a free 24/7 app and online program that can help you feel happier, healthier and more productive when you're going through tough times.  Use it to help you learn some preventative techniques and lifestyle skills to address any issues head-on before they get the best of you.  Here’s how to get started: 

  • Go to this website and click the button "Sign Up for Self-Help with an Institution"
  • Fill out your general information and submit it. You’ll be sent an email with a temporary password momentarily.
  • Click the link in the email to login and change your password in order to set up your account.
  • You’re ready to go!

Each treatment/pathway in TAO consists of 6-7 highly engaging educational modules, including interactive activities to help you learn strategies and skills.
