Flexible Spending (FSA) Enrollment

The Human Resources Department will hold its annual enrollment period beginning Monday, November 4th through Monday, November 11th.   This is your opportunity to enroll in the Flexible Spending Accounts for next year.  Also, if you, your spouse, or children are not currently enrolled in the medical, dental, and vision plans this is your chance to do so.  The benefits effective date is January 1, 2020.  Watch your e-mail for complete details regarding annual enrollment.  Questions may be directed to Ms. Kimberly Hongisto, Benefits Assistant, at khongist@nmu.edu or Ms. Kristen Bjorne, Director of Benefits, at kportale@nmu.edu.

Request for Panel Members

On Thursday, October 24, 2019, the Marquette Alternative High School will be on campus. We are requesting volunteers to participate in a panel discussion about understanding diversity and teaching tolerance from around the world. The focus of the panel would be how best to humanize each other and collaborate in a world where there is so much intolerance. 

Please reach out to Anthony, arospier@nmu.edu, if you can be a strong advocate that would be willing to participate in this panel. Three time slots need to be filled by about 4-6 people in each session. The times are as followed:

9:15- 10:15

10:30- 11:30

12:30- 1:30
