Are You Wired? Highest Tech Residence Hall Room to be Featured

Are You Wired? Highest Tech Residence Hall Room to be Featured

The Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center at NMU is opening a new exhibition on the history of Technology at the university, and wants to show the changes in its impact on students. In one area, we'd like to compare the technology used by students in their residence hall rooms.  If you feel that your room features a lot of 21st century technology and would like it to be featured in the exhibition, please let us know and we'll contact you to see your set up.  The exhibition opens on February 16, so we'll need to be contacted by January 25.

Family Status Changes

Family status changes including marriage, divorce, birth, adoption, death of a spouse/child, marriage of a dependent child, etc., must be reported to the Human Resources Department no later than 30 days after the event.  Proper notification ensures accurate enrollment in benefit plans for new spouse/baby; prompt removal of those you no longer wish to cover; and correct withholding from your paycheck for the associated plan type (e.g., Single, Two, Family).  Contact Ms. Kimberly Hongisto, Benefits Assistant, at khongist@nmu.edu or phone x2470 with questions.
