The Noquemanon Trail Network is looking for volunteers to assist with operations at the Forestville Trailhead over the winter. The trailhead operates from early December through late April as a warming shelter and to provide trail users access to other amenities. We also offer rentals on a variety of winter sporting equipment (skis, snowshoes and fat tire bikes).
Volunteer shifts run from 10:00AM to 1:00PM and 1:00PM to 4:00PM, 7 days a week. We are currently looking for anyone interested in volunteering on a regular basis (typically one shift per week) or to substitute on weekdays or weekends. They are flexible in scheduling based on your availability!
Volunteers are asked to perform several basic duties, to include:
Provide descriptions of the trail system
Conduct equipment rentals
Transport firewood/Maintain wood fire
An orientation will be provided for new volunteers. Experience with skiing equipment is helpful but not necessary.
