April 12-18, 2020 is National Student Employment Week. This week is celebrated on campuses throughout the nation, and is an opportunity to enhance awareness of student employment and its important role in the higher education experience.
Student employees - whether you're currently working or worked earlier this year - thank you!
For more information and ideas on how to celebrate your student employees, visit www.nmu.edu/careerservices/events.
Anyone with questions regarding National Student Employment Week can contact Career Services at 227-2800.
Family status changes including marriage, divorce, birth, adoption, death of a spouse/child, marriage of a dependent child, etc., must be reported to the Human Resources Department no later than 30 days after the event. Proper notification ensures accurate enrollment in benefit plans for new spouse/baby; prompt removal of those you no longer wish to cover; and correct withholding from your paycheck for the associated plan type (e.g., Single, Two, Family). Contact Ms. Kimberly Hongisto, Benefits Assistant, at email@example.com or phone x2470 with questions.
