Faculty, staff, graduate assistants and teaching assistants have a huge impact on our students’ NMU experience, so let’s show our current and prospective students what we (really) look like and who we are! There is also a very brief questionnaire that we encourage you to fill out online prior to having your photo taken.
Feel free to bring a prop that signifies your scholarship or personal passion and we will take a “fun” portrait as well.
The Social Security Administration (SSA) is offering free retirement planning workshops presented via live webinars. The monthly workshop tackles the major points of consideration one needs to think about before, after, and while making that tough decision of when and what to file for with the SSA. Retirement benefits, spousal benefits, widows benefits, Medicare and everything in between will be covered in the webinar. Participation is interactive so you will be able to ask questions to help alleviate the uneasiness that may come with taking the next step into retirement. Attendees will be better prepared and confident when making their Social Security decisions. Register here.
