School of Health and Human Performance GetFit Program Winter 2019

GetFit is a scientifically-based physical fitness program. Each new participant will have exercise recommendations provided based on individual information including medical history, HR and BP responses. Participants then implement their exercise recommendations within a professionally-supervised program of activities geared towards their individual needs and interests.

January 23-April 25, 2019 session options:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
-6:30 - 7:30 a.m.

-9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
-5:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Program Fees (Three program categories):

1. $150 - New GetFit  Participants

2. $140 -  New GetFit participants who are NMU Faculty /Staff /
    Students or Spouses or PEIF Members
                                            

3. $100 - Returning GetFit participants who were enrolled
    during 2017 or 2018

There will be a free shuttle to and from Marquette Mountain every Friday and Saturday through ski season. The shuttle will start at 2:30, leaving campus every hour from the Cedar/Birch entrance at Lot 10. The shuttle will leave the mountain every hour on the hour. The online application for the fall 2019 semester Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is open until February 1 at http://www.nmu.edu/nursing/application. If you have a 2.75 GPA, have completed (with a C- or higher) or are currently enrolled for all BSN prerequisite courses, you must apply to be considered for admission to the BSN program. The Educational Access Network provides internet access to many community members across the Upper Peninsula. 

We are looking for a charismatic student that wants to help the Upper Peninsula community members gain access to our LTE network, answer questions, and assist them with basic troubleshooting.

Training is provided! Come join the family starting this Summer Semester.
