Ireland International Service Project
Tentative Dates: May 7-21, 2018
Approximate Cost: $4,200 (This includes airfare, accommodations, most meals, in-country transportation, and all planned cultural activities.)
While staying with Irish families in Dublin during the first week, you will learn about their rich Irish culture as well as volunteer in a Montessori, a senior center, or with troubled youth. During the second week, you will tour the beautiful country of Ireland. Stops include: Cliffs of Moher, Connemara National Park, Aran Islands, and Galway City.
This trip will provide the perfect mix of sightseeing, exploring the culture (music, food, language and customs) and history, and volunteering your time and talents to make a difference.
Attend one of the interest meetings to learn more (you only need to attend one): Tuesday, October 3 at 4 p.m.; Monday, October 9 at 7 p.m.; Thursday, October 19 at 6:30 p.m.; Wednesday, November 1 at 8 p.m.; or Friday, December 1 at Noon. All of the interest meetings will be held in The Back Room, 1213 University Center.
